COLLEGE PLACE, WASH. (Jan. 16, 2012) John McVay today announced his intention to step down as Walla Walla University president at the end of June and transition to a new role in the theology department.

MEMPHIS, TENN. (August 10, 2011) Suzette York, principal of the Memphis (Tenn.) Junior Academy was found dead in a classroom on Tuesday, Aug. 10. The 49-year old principal was allegedly killed by one of the students.

SILVER SPRING, MD. (February 17, 2011) The 2011 Yearbook of American & Canadian Churches shows while some denominations have declined, SDA figures show a 4.3 percent rise since 2008.
