A Renewed Sense of Urgency ASI Spring Fellowship A renewed sense of urgency permeated the members of the Northwest Chapter of Adventist-Laymens Services and Industries (ASI) as they met at the Eagle Crest Resort near Redmond, Ore., for the annual Spring Fellowship weekend, April 1417. The theme for the weekend, Working, O Christ, with Thee, was echoed in the meetings, reports and conversations. Dan Ross, ASI Northwest Chapter president, spoke Sabbath evening and focused attention on how the news events of the last year and behind the scenes maneuverings of powerful interest groups are pointing to the final chapters in Earths history. He called for a renewed commitment of the ASI members and the Adventist Church in their efforts to share Christ in their spheres of influence. The next ASI Spring Fellowship will be held at Harbor Towers in Victoria, B.C., April 1316, 2006. Richard Dower, GLEANER editor
