The Kennewick Church family witnessed the first baptism in the new unfinished sanctuary on April 8, 2006. Pastor Fred Christensen baptized Lisa Cauble, Margaret Cox and the twin daughters of Richard and Margaret Laubach, Courtney and Caitlin.

Cauble watched 3ABN, learning about God from the channel's preachers. A former bartender, she was cited for drunk driving one night. That night she stopped drinking and promised God she would give up alcohol. She hasn’t had alcohol for nearly three years!

Cox moved back to Kennewick a year ago where she found God and gave her heart to Him!
