Feb. 2—The Walla Walla Chapter Association of Adventist Forums welcomes Tony Campolo, Ph.D., presenting "The God of Intimacy and Action: The Challenge to Welcome and Embrace Diversity." 4 p.m. in the University Church. Feb. 23—Annual Young Artists Night, a concert of music students who auditioned for an opportunity to play or sing. Prizes will be awarded. ACS Disaster Response Training

Feb. 23–24—Weekend event at Hood River Church includes personal disaster preparation, Adventist response to disaster, and an area Adventist Community Services meeting on Sabbath afternoon. On Sunday morning become certified by attending the new North American Division ACS Disaster Response Training. Church leaders and anyone interested in disaster relief, community connections, and community service work are invited to attend. Abuse Seminar Sponsored by Life Renewal Institute

March 15–16—Those who have been abused suffer with feelings of rejection, anger, fear and incredible sadness. CHIP Health Seminar at Hood View

March 31, April 3, 8—Preliminary, identical, free informational and registration opportunity sessions for the April 13–May 8 CHIP seminar at the Hood View Church, 26775 S.E. Kelso Rd., Boring. The four-week seminar offers instruction in prevention and reversal of coronary heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, overweight, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cancer, arthritis, osteoporosis, depression, digestive problems, and high medical/medication costs. Classes will be held four nights each week: Sunday, 6–8 p.m.; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7–9 p.m. Health screenings by professionals will be held April 11 and May 9.
