Western Washington Schools on a Journey to Excellence

Cedarhome Christian students participated for the second time in the LEGO® Robotics program at Walla Walla University and received—for the second time—the top presentation award.

The Cascade Eagles Pathfinder Club staffed two water stations during the Whidbey Island Marathon this spring.

Adventure and education called Forest Park students in grades five through eight to The Dalles, Ore., for a Lewis and Clark five-day outdoor education program.

Students in grades six through eight at Baker View Christian and Cedarhome Christian schools joined together for a historical tour of Washington, D.C.

As lead teachers in the Pathways literature-based reading program, Dea Bienhoff (Cypress), Roxanne Wright (Cypress), and Donna Meador (Lewis County) served as coaches for other teachers in the conference.

Tacoma Adventist Christian School joined the ranks of schools in Washington Conference this year. Recently, the school held a dedication Sabbath where students performed music and drama selections.

An influx of young children led Sky Valley School to develop a preschool center called Busy Bees Bilingual Preschool and Daycare.
