Leaves of Autumn Scattered in Illinois Valley
The personal ministries department of the Cave Junction Church has mailed Bible enrollment cards to every resident in the Illinois Valley. The response has been so gratifying that 68 Bible studies have been started by the Cave Junction Church Gospel Workers.
The Gospel Workers are an "on fire" group; six are non-church members who plan to be baptized in the near future. Their enthusiasm is contagious as they meet each Sabbath to pray, plan, and study together. The group's topic of study is: "The Last Elijah Message Essentials for Revival," by Doug Batchelor.
Revival meetings began Nov. 5 in the Cave Junction Church via satellite with Pastor Doug Batchelor. Every Gospel Worker committed to praying for the church, and for former members who were visited and personally invited to the revival meetings.
The third mailing will go out soon, blanketing every home and postal box in the Illinois Valley. The Cave Junction Church gospel workers feel that God's Holy Spirit is being poured out throughout the valley. Every Sabbath, visitors come to church seeking to know Jesus as their personal friend and Saviour.
